Hey guys, this is Justin, I'm the co-founder of http://bln.kr.

We truly appreciate you guys taking the time to review our site and really dig both the positive and constructive feedback. We've been up for a month in beta and still have a ton of features to add, but thank you for giving your listeners a preview of our service.

Just wanted to hit on a couple points.

First, we do pronounce it "blinker," so you guys are right there, obviously we need to do a better job of telling folks how to pronounce it!

Next, just wanted to answer your question about The Streets. My partner Andy and I are a totally independent startup based in Chicago. We are huge fans of Mike Skinner and he was the first artist we reached out to to try out bln.kr. He liked what we were doing and we have made a bit of a home for him on bln.kr, but we offer the same services to all artists.

The great thing about social media, which you guys touched on, is that a big artist like The Streets is on equal footing with a less popular musician. each can leverage all the tools out there to distribute their music and if the content is great it will get shared and get talked about. We really believe in that and are working hard to make sure all artists on our site get a chance to be heard and featured.

Thanks for the feedback on some of the challenges with finding new music on both our desktop and mobile sites. We are very focused on building the best artist service we can now, but will soon be shifting our focus to making a great listener experience as well.

I hear you loud and clear on better ways to sort through the music on our site. We are slowly rolling out our Top Tracks charts and are experimenting with favorites lists, so if you find a song you dig you can just click the star in the top right corner and the song will be added to your playlist on your public profile, which of course you can share to your friends.

We are also building a system for artists to tag their music. So soon you will be able to create a custom music stream of just "hip hop" and "remixes" etc.

We are totally open to suggestions though about how to make the whole experience better. Our goal is to build the best music distribution and discovery service on the social (and mobile) web, and we need to know if a feature isn't cutting it. If something sucks, we need to know and we need to make it better.

I love your ideas about mobile music uploads and API integration and these are a couple examples of the types of things we want to pursue in the next phase of our development, and I'll see what I can do about getting you guys a car magnet with our logo. :)

Finally, and most importantly, we would love to host your podcast if you guys are interested. We are very focused on music now, but we have always envisioned bln.kr as a home for all audio. Let's talk about how we can customize bln.kr to make it rock for podcasts.

Email me at feedback@bln.kr if you guys are interested.

Again, really appreciate you guys taking the time to take a look at what we are doing and I'm looking forward to your next podcast.

We are all trying to figure out the meaning of social media and I appreciate you guys trying to make some sense of it.

I listened to the podcast today while I wandered through Rice Park. I think people thought I was crazy 'cause you guys made me LOL several times! I was initially doubtful as to whether I'd be interested in your podcast, as the "social media" label rubs me the wrong way*, but it is what it is and that's what it's called! I really liked the comment that "if you can comment on it, it's social media." That made me realize that I have been addicted to social media long before it even had that label! When I first got a computer over ten years ago, I was all up in IRC and ICQ, and I have been on LiveJournal since almost its start.

I like that you guys said you were not experts in social media nor do you pretend to be; I really enjoyed hearing about how you use social media for both work (Ian's studio) and for personal stuff. I also really enjoyed the discussion of companion sites, like how bln.kr augments Twitter. I hadn't heard of that site or a couple others you discussed, so it was cool to hear about how they can be used together with Twitter, Facebook, etc. I feel like my social media stuff is fragmented between several sites, so I'm particularly interested in that site that lets you post to multiple places at once.

Future topics I'd like to hear about:
- people using social media to achieve goals (I've lost 45 pounds so far with much, much encouragement and help from my Tweeple)
- social media versus the workplace, i.e. getting dooced
- more websites and apps for social media
- maybe interview people at a tweetup for future episodes, like ask everyone the same question about social media and then edit together some of the best responses

Great job on the podcast, and I look forward to listening to more episodes!

*Mostly from all of the self-proclaimed "social media experts" on Twitter, heh.
